Spread your message beyond barriers
My name is Lucía Doval. I am a freelance audiovisual and literary translator (English > Castilian Spanish / Galician).
I can help you reach a wider audience, ensuring the quality
that both your work and their experience deserve.
Let's break any linguistic, cultural and sensorial barriers
that may stand between your creations and people.

About me
For several years now, I have actively participated in numerous creative projects and worked hand in hand with filmmakers, musicians,
theatre producers and content creators.
I also work with some of the biggest language service providers,
and subtitle for digital platforms and TV channels.
I have produced the Galician subtitles for projects such as
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Citadel, K-Pop Demon Hunters, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, Untamed, My Lady Jane,
and Sausage Party: Foodtopia.
I am amazed by knowledge in all its forms. I’m currently studying a BS in Psychology, I'm an avid reader of non-fiction books, I play the piano since I was 9, and I write and sing my own songs. If your project deals with profound topics, such as philosophy, music, art, or the intricacies of human behaviour, I will be prepared to get to the core of your message.

Synopsis
High school is a key stage in our lives. Not only does your BODY grow and change, but so do your MIND and your EMOTIONS. You start wondering whether you like what you see in the mirror, if you’re choosing the right words when you talk to your crush, or whether you’ll be able to land a cool job when you grow up.
Some people never manage to answer these questions, and at 50 they still don’t know how to treat themselves with kindness when they look in the mirror. But it’s never too early or too late to learn, right?
In this fresh and thoughtful work of non-fiction book, Lucía Doval shares with her niece Raquel (and with anyone who wants to take a peek at its pages) a few secrets about life she wishes she had known sooner. Secrets that might have saved her quite a few headaches and heartaches.
